No matter how much time you have to give, there's an opportunity for you.

VOLUNTEER!

Volunteering with us isn't just about campfires and helping girls to get their next badge - although those are special moments that we love to share. It's about empowering girls and giving them new experiences. It's being a role model and helping girls to realise their full potential. It's sharing and developing your skills.

Your professional and personal experience, a specific skill, or simply your enthusiasm - you have so much to share with the girls and young women in our groups. Whether you have been involved in guiding before or you are completely new to it, you'll be more than welcome to get involved.

If you aren't able to volunteer on a regular basis you can still make an impact in a supporting role. These roles may involve admin or finances and you don't have to have specialist skills in these areas.

You don't have to be 18+ to volunteer, we have roles for 'Young Leaders' too who are aged 14 to 18 years old. It's a great skill to put on your CV or to talk about during college and university applications. It can also be used as your volunteering section for your Duke of Edinburgh Award.

You get to work with young people, gain voluntary experience and develop skills from first aid to fundraising. Join our team to help make a positive impact on our local community.

*All adults (18+) who are involved with Girlguiding are required to undergo a DBS check.
