UNIFORM

Some of these items can be purchased from the Girlguiding online shop or our nearest Guide Depots in Maidenhead and Reading. We quite often visit the shop so if you know what you want, please speak to us and we can pick it up for you to save you on time and postage costs.

Please note - the Guide polo shirt, hoodie and necker, and also the Ranger hoodie and necker need to be purchased directly from us. Our group does not make a profit on any of these items, we sell them to you at the same price we buy them for.

This is the new style Ranger polo shirt. You can buy it from the two local depots listed above or the Girlguiding online shop.

Cargo Trousers 

We ask both Guides and Rangers to wear navy blue cargo trousers as part of the uniform.

There are lots of options available, including official Scout trousers, or trousers from outdoor shops such as Go Outdoors. There is an example of cargo trousers here. They can have zips to turn into shorts if you would like. We sometimes have second hand pairs available. 

Replacement Guide Necker

Every Guide is given a necker when they make their promise. If the necker gets lost you can purchase a replacement from us.

Optional Guide Camp Blanket

You can purchase the official camp blanket from the shops listed above.

However, you can have any blanket of any colour so please don't feel that you need to have the official one. We sew our badges onto a camp blanket.
